Before You Read Any Blog Entries...

BorderSac - Borderline Sacrilegious  - Not in the religious sense but, I aim to misbehave. For many years, I've bit my tongue on many issues. I will probably not bite my tongue often here...

First,my views are not necessarily the views of Pixel Corps or dvGarage. These are my own opinions. Please leave them out of it.

Secondly, and more importantly... The ideas expressed on this site are not a function of what I think is true, but, rather, what I think is possible. Some of the posts here will be very pedestrian. Others will probably provoke a strong negative or positive response on your part. This is by design. Argue! If I'm wrong, let me know why. If you agree, let me know that too.

Finally, Please be clear that I take will full advantage of the power of the internet. The base articles may change over time (and in response to your great input).

Thanks for visiting! I hope to see you here more often.

Good to see a place to read your views. Two tech questions: 1) why no RSS (or did I miss it) and 2) why bordersac vs something like tumblr? Strong preference?

Answered my own questions - instead of RSS, folks can join in order to get notified and you able to collect info; and I see you used Squarespace to create this site and I know how you feel about Squarespace :-)

Alex be careful people can be very fickle. Want to piss people off talk about Money, Politics, or Religion with someone and disagree with their way of thinking.

You say not to blame Pixel Corps and dvgarage but then you say you started them and help run them. I know if I have someone I really dont see eye to eye with and know that this person doesnt have the same beliefs or moral compass or etcetc that I do then I am less likely to visit or purchase their product.
For example think about the Dixie Chicks who spoke out about the president at the time. I believe everyone has the freedom of speech but if you want to talk about politics or some other thing dont do it when I paid to see you sing. If I want political anyalsis I would turn on cnn, msnbc, fox, abc, nbc, cbs, etcetc. I go to a concert to hear you sing and perform music.
It really doesnt matter if I agree or disagree with you if you want to talk politics or whatever then do it on your own time. I for one like the Dixie Chicks but I like their singing. I happen to agree with some (not all) of their political feelings but thtats not why I paid to see them. Thats my opinion.
But not everyone feels that way. Some people believe in not supporting that person anymore. Such as not purchasing their product or services.
Just realize that if you put yourself out there in the public eye its always best to be neutral and not speak of certain things less you piss off a certain section of the populous. Unless that is your job, to be a talking head to get people riled up or do shock jock routines to piss off people for ratings then hey go for it :)
You seem like a good person and you are a celebrity and well known. I would hate people to not buy your products or not watch your podcast or not be a sponsor of your shows just because you spoke your free mind.

First,my views are not necessarily the views of Pixel Corps or dvGarage. These are my own opinions. Please leave them out of it.

I am the founder and a member of the Pixel Corps, a Guild of Content Creators. I also started a company called "dvGarage" which creates tools and training for the Visual Effects and Media industry.
